Taylor Garron - "Cassidy"

Taylor Garron (@casualafro) is a standup comedian, comedy writer, and actress from New Bedford, MA based in Brooklyn, NY. She is an in-house writer at Reductress, and landed her first gig at age 12 as a cast member on the PBS Kids shows Zoom and Fetch! with Ruff Ruffman. Garron's most recent work is a web series, Somebody’s Kid, which she wrote and produced, about her experience as a nanny for the super wealthy, and is now in post-production.


Tinuke Chmieliauskas - "Elena"

Maryland native Tinuke Yetunde Chmieliauskas (as Tinuke Adetunji) began her career in 2009 landing a role on the HBO series Lipstixx Girls. Since, Tinuke has starred on screen - in The Intern, Rounded Corners, Step Sisters, short film Heart Full of Smoke, and web-series Rap Star featuring Maino.


Corrie Legge - "Kelsey"

Corrie is a native of Falmouth, ME, based in Manhattan. She attended college at Brandeis University where she studied Theater Arts, Biology, and Elementary Education. She has been in numerous stage productions including The Glass Menagerie (Laura) and Spring Awakening (Wendla). Corrie's most recent work is a short film Self Portrait, which she wrote and directed. Jazlyn Rose Rodriguez - "Jess"

Jazlyn Rose Rodriguez was born and raised in Bronx, New York. She fell in love with acting as a child but it truly became a part of her life during her senior year of high school while having to perform scenes from Romeo and Juliet for a huge audience. After graduating H.S, she went on to study nursing at Hostos Community College. Two years later she started to pursue her acting career.

Kevin Johnston - "Ross"/ Original Music

Kevin is a musician, and his band is The Bright Silence. Kevin wrote and produced the music for the fictional band Slim Hitter who appear in The Things We Do When We're Alone, alongside two other phenomenal musicians - Matt Schlatter and Nathan V. Terry. His latest album "Time Is New" is available on Bandcamp, Spotify, and everywhere you can buy music.

Chanel James - Writer, Producer, Director, EDITOR

Chanel is a writer, director and producer from Smyrna, GA, based in Atlanta. In 2007, Chanel started her production company, Dinosaur Hawk Films. She has produced short films The White Room, Dear Dirty,  and co-produced various live, in-studio performances for Atlanta's 90s and Alternative radio station, 99x. She wrote, produced, and directed her first original short Lie Awake in 2011. The Things We Do When We're Alone is her debut feature film.

Jessica Cruzat - Producer

Jess is a visual artist, photographer, and body-positive activist, from Stuggart, Germany, based in Chicago. Chanel and Jess met during high school in drama class. Mainly, the two hung out, went to shows, and grew up together. Kelsey Phillips - Director of Photography

Kelsey is a cinematographer, director, writer, and editor from Ringgold, GA, based in Atlanta. She has directed short films The White Room and Gemini, and served as director of photography on feature films Tiger Lily and 12 Lives of Sissy Carlyle. Chanel and Kelsey met in college in Atlanta, and knew immediately they needed to combine their energies and create stories together. They have been inseparable ever since.

K.C. Simonton - Producer, Production Designer

K.C. is a producer and event specialist from Atlanta, GA. Chanel and KC became fast friends in college over their collective love of music. Chanel would like to credit K.C. specifically for introducing her to Ryan Adams, which has since changed the course of her life. KC got her professional start at Atlantis Music Conference, and continues to help create live music experiences at Atlanta-based Xorbia Tickets.



Danielle Carpita - Associate Producer, Grants & Marketing

Danielle is a licensed clinical social worker and grant writer from Trenton, NJ, based in Jersey City. She works daily to support and comfort New Yorkers who are experiencing distress and seek guidance. For those of you reading who may be experiencing depression and / or looking to support their mental health, Danielle recommends the following organizations: The National Alliance on Mental Illness, Gestalt Associates for Psychotherapy, The Trevor Project.

Jen Quinn - Associate producer, Art Director, Graphic Designer

Jen is a designer, illustrator, copy writer and music lover from Coral Springs, FL, based in Brooklyn. Chanel and Jen met soon after they'd both moved to NYC while working at an audio post-production house, and instantly bonded when Jen casually played the band Thursday on the work computer one day and they both silently agreed they'd be life long buds. Nathan V. Terry - Co-Producer, Composer, Sound & Audio Post

Nate is a drummer, composer, and sound designer from Millville, NJ, based in Atlanta. He's a member of the band Goodbye Picasso, and founding member of Hayes Peebles. Nate has composed original scores and designed the sound for several short and feature films, engineered and produced records for a variety of artists, and created original music for companies like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Pearson Education. Nikki DeSautelle, associate producer, Illustrator

Nikki is a designer, illustrator, and artist from just outside Detroit, based in Brooklyn. Chanel and Nikki met in UCB improv class in 2012. They decided to pair up for an activity, something related to incorporating "strawberries" into their performance. Then, the two became friends, exchanged numbers and moved in together. Nicole Sylvester - Associate Producer

Detroit native, Nicole Sylvester began her career as a Producer/Director at Comcast Cablevision directing live-action television, call-in talk shows, teen programming and music specials. Her days at the cable company culminated in her documentary Lonely Eagles: Airmen of Tuskegee, being nominated for both a national Cable ACE and a Cable ICE Award.
